My Journey as a Chemistry Educator
My teaching journey began in 2007, when I started teaching students of Class IX and X while pursuing my Electronics Engineering degree. At that time, teaching was not only a passion but also a necessity. Coming from a modest financial background, teaching helped me support my education while allowing me to do something I genuinely enjoyed.
Those early years helped me realize how much I loved teaching. Explaining difficult concepts, helping students overcome their doubts, and seeing them gain confidence in their abilities gave me immense satisfaction.
In 2011, I began my professional career with Infosys as an SAP Consultant. Even while working in the IT industry, my connection with teaching never stopped. Alongside my job, I continued mentoring students preparing for engineering and medical entrance examinations as a private tutor.
During this period, I closely observed the challenges students faced while preparing for All India level competitive exams like JEE and NEET. Many capable students were studying in large coaching classes with 40 or more students, where individual attention was limited. Without proper mentorship, many students began losing confidence and eventually gave up on their dreams of clearing these examinations.
This realization became a defining moment in my life. I strongly believed that students preparing for such competitive exams required personal guidance, conceptual clarity, and continuous mentorship, not just classroom lectures. Driven by this belief and my deep passion for teaching, I made the decision to leave my IT career and dedicate myself fully to education. Since then, my focus has been on guiding students with the right approach to learning Chemistry and helping them develop the confidence and discipline required to succeed in competitive examinations. At JP’s Academy, my aim is not only to teach Chemistry but to mentor students, strengthen their fundamentals, and support them throughout their academic journey.
Teaching Philosophy
I believe that Chemistry is one of the most logical and scoring subjects when taught with clarity and the right approach. My teaching method focuses on building strong conceptual foundations so that students can confidently tackle both board examinations and competitive exams like JEE and NEET.
In my classes, I emphasize:
- Clear understanding of concepts
- Structured problem-solving techniques
- Regular practice and testing
- Individual attention and mentorship
Every student learns differently, and my goal is to ensure that each student receives the guidance and support needed to unlock their full potential. Watching students grow in confidence and achieve their goals remains the most rewarding part of my journey as a teacher.
