Born from a Classroom Moment. Built for Every Student After
The story of JP’s Academy does not begin with a business plan. It begins with a boy sitting lost in a crowded coaching class — surrounded by hundreds of students, holding a textbook, but with no one to explain the page he was stuck on. That boy was JP Sir. And that moment of invisibility became the founding principle of everything JP’s Academy stands for.
The Journey Begins
JP Sir began helping classmates after school as a teenager — not as a tutor, just as someone who found that explaining things to others made both parties understand better. Through college, he juggled early morning classes for 12th standard students, his own degree, and evening sessions for neighbourhood kids. Even after earning a placement at Patni Computers, his evenings still belonged to teaching.
In 2010, he made a decision that would define the next chapter of his life — and the lives of hundreds of students to come. He walked away from his corporate career and chose the classroom permanently.

Three Educators - One Shared Conviction
JP Sir was not alone in his frustration with how competitive exam preparation worked. Yogesh Sir had been watching the same pattern since 2007 — brilliant students losing belief in themselves simply because large batches of 40 or more students made personal guidance impossible. An IT engineer who worked at Deloitte while teaching on the side, Yogesh Sir saw too many talented students give up on IIT dreams they were fully capable of achieving.
Nitin Sir had the same experience from a Chemistry teacher’s perspective. An SAP Consultant at Infosys who privately mentored JEE and NEET aspirants in parallel with his corporate career, he saw firsthand how the absence of conceptual clarity and one-on-one guidance was quietly destroying students’ confidence — and their results.
In 2016, the three of them came together and built JP’s Academy around a single shared conviction: that every student preparing for JEE or NEET deserves a mentor who knows their name, understands their learning pace, and is genuinely invested in their success.

Where We Stand Today
Over 1,000 students have passed through JP’s Academy since it was founded. They have gone on to IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IISER Bhopal, VJTI Mumbai, ICT Mumbai, SP IT Mumbai, AIIMS and top medical colleges across Maharashtra. They have cleared boards with distinction, cracked Olympiads, and — more importantly — grown into confident, curious learners who know how to think.
