My Journey Behind JP’s Academy
From Corporate Boardrooms to Physics Classrooms

This quote fascinated me from a young age. It shaped how I looked at challenges — not as obstacles, but as opportunities to rise higher.
I was always among the toppers in school. Mathematics came naturally to me, but my real fascination for physics began during my engineering entrance preparation when I discovered the legendary book Fundamentals of Physics. Physics suddenly transformed from formulas into a beautiful language that explains the universe.
However, during my own preparation, I noticed something deeply troubling.
Despite having talented students and experienced teachers, only a small percentage could clear competitive exams like Joint Entrance Examination or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. The problem wasn’t intelligence — it was the lack of personal mentorship in large coaching batches.
During my engineering years (2007–2011), while pursuing my Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology, I began teaching in a local coaching institute in Chembur to support my expenses. At the same time, along with JP Sir, I started conducting one-to-one mentoring sessions for students. Something remarkable happened. Students who struggled in large coaching institutes started improving rapidly when they received personal attention and structured guidance. Their confidence returned, and their results improved dramatically.
Later, while working at Deloitte, one of the world’s leading consulting firms, my corporate career was rewarding — but my true passion remained teaching and mentoring students. As more students joined us, our one-to-one sessions evolved into small focused groups. In 2016, together with JP Sir and Nitin Sir, we founded JP’s Academy with a clear mission: To bring back the power of personal mentorship in education. At JP’s Academy, physics is not taught as a subject — it is experienced. Our batches are intentionally kept small (around 20 students) so that every student receives personal attention. My classes focus on consistent concept building, because strong concepts create confidence, and confident students develop flawless problem-solving skills.
Students gradually progress from fundamentals to solving advanced problems from books like Problems in General Physics, Problems in Physics, and other advanced physics resources used in Joint Entrance Examination – Advanced preparation. Over the years, I have mentored 700+ students, helping them secure admissions in prestigious institutes like Indian Institutes of Technology, Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research, Institute of Chemical Technology, Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, and leading medical colleges across Maharashtra.
